We tried Malaysian fried rice, roti kanai, rendang, satay. The food was pretty good. It was little cold. Expected to get more warmer. Only 2 people working in such a big and busy restaurant. I was feeling bad for the employees. They need to hire more people for smooth service. One thing I would like to recommend the owner is that sitting arrangements is not nice. Too congested. There’s not enough space to move around and from one table to another table is so adjacent. I wish them all the best. I hope they change little things and make it more appealing.

Great atmosphere and excellent service. On a 30°C day, the cool air conditioning was a welcome relief, but the genuine warmth and hospitality from the staff made an even bigger impression. Quite possibly the best Malaysian food to be had in London (and there are quite a few choices in the area around Bayswater station alone!) We were there for a midweek lunch and the food was exceptional. Fresh, well spiced, deeply developed, rich flavours and generous portions. All the dishes were great, but the two standout highlights were the Nasi Lemak Prawn Sambal and the Ikan Bakar Sambal. Will be returning for both.

Been to Malay Fellas twice now and it has been excellent both times. The food is amazing , the roti canai was flaky and satisfying, the ayam percik was absolutely delicious, and the beef rendang was superb, rich, and full of flavour. Mee goreng was also so delicious. I’d also highly recommend trying all the desserts because they were just as impressive as the mains. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re craving authentic Malaysian food in London!
