The whole meal was very disappointing. The prawn toast was overcooked, greasy, and tasted like it had been fried in old oil. It was chewy and unpleasant. The special curry was extremely runny, with tiny prawns and very little seasoning — overall quite bland. The chips were poor quality, clearly cheap frozen fries. The chilli chicken was especially disappointing — bland, slightly slimy, and lacking any real chilli or garlic flavour. Ordered food for deliver which arrived almost 2 hours later, 45 mins after their delivery estimate. No apologies even after I phoned to ask how long it would be. Hot and sour soup was excellent but the crispy duck looked suspiciously like chicken, not like any crispy duck ive ever seen.

Last week ordered a takeaway for 2. It says 1hr max delivery on Uber. It was 2 hrs, we phoned twice and twice told "it's on its way". We then found out after 2 hrs the delivery had been left on the doorstep. It said doorstep on Uber but all deliveries still knock 1st. We were sat in front room and noone did. The worst thing is I ate Vegetable Chow mein and got food poisoning. I was violently ill 2 hrs later and for the next 2 days. Really disappointed as ordered before and was fine. Can't use again as so unsafe.

I would like to make a review regarding this restaurants customer service. Although we did not eat at this place, my boyfriend accidentally placed an order here, reading the address as ‘Lanchester’ rather than ‘Lancaster’😅. We only realised 30 minutes later when we had left to pick it up so rang the shop. By this point food had already been cooked so they originally said they could do nothing as it would go to waste. Half an hour later they rang us back and said they would refund us half of the order money as goodwill gesture. We do appreciate this and see this as really good customer service
