I thought this place was a cocktail bar so avoided it for ages but the food was surprisingly excellent. I had the pie and it was delicious with the mash. I also had the plant pot pudding which was amazing too full of flavour. Outside was a QR code ordering but inside was waited. Nice atmosphere and live music. If you like good pub food go here.

Just not worth the money. The food is fine but unspectacular, and the drinks are similar. The atmosphere is very similar; we were there on a Friday night, which meant we were treated to some fairly average live music. But the staff are nice!

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner here Booked a table for 12 a few weeks ago Love the hanging kebab, I ordered the chicken one with sweet chili soy sauce and sweet potato fries. I generally like it, there’s chicken tastes a bit sweet, I love it I think it’s really worthy to add £2 for sweet potato fries as it tastes super great Plus, there’s a blond waitress who’s super nice. I love her service, and she took a few amazing group pics, excellent photography skill. Always smile at us, if all customer service is like this i wouldn’t complain to pay service charge There’s live band show on Sat

Haven't been to botanist for some time & we know have a nearly 1 year old. I had requested a high chair & it was there waiting for us. Great food, portion sizes really good & wonderful surprise of happy birthday on food board for our little girl. Will be back xx
