We come here with our kids for meals a lot and we absolutely love it! Such a lovely pub for atmosphere and friendly staff! So when it came to booking my partner’s 40th I knew we had to come here because it has such meaning to us. The booking system was so great and the customer service was phenomenal! Carys was happy to help and answer any questions or plans I had and helped made the seamless. The staff on the evening were so attentive and friendly too. Had a sunday roast here, really good portion size, which made the price worth it. Only downside side was the food was served warm, not hot. The quality of the food was good, tasty, and the beef was cooked perfectly I did have a sticky toffee pudding, which is my go to dessert, and it was a bit underwhelming for a gastropub. I would go again, although wouldnt be my first choice. Staff were friendly when they came to the table.

We booked a large table of 13 for a special family meal, a 90th birthday. We were not requested to pre-order, which strongly prefer. Nothing better than being surprised by the menu on the day and being stuck between choices! All the dished came out perfectly cooked and together, with just one minor correction necessary but it was dealt with swiftly and there was no need to offer to compensate with a free drink. The food was delicious and generous portion sizes. We kept our table for the entire afternoon and we were not rushed at all. A thoroughly enjoyable experience was had by all!
