Herb is my favourite place to eat whenever I’m visiting Leicester! Great for vegetarians & plenty of gluten free options. A really short walk from the train station. I often get this incredible business Thali deal if I am there at the right time which is a huge portion of tasty food for such a good price. I have had wonderful service from Paru.

Really delicious food, an amazing amount of choice. Everyone working there is lovely - our waiter Gattu was really attentive. I recommend trying the batura if you have a curry or the dosa. They were enormous! It was so fun seeing our meals being brought to the table. Great place to eat in Leicester. Would have benefitted from some descriptions of each dish on the menu - but I see these are online :)

I recently tried the Sada Dosa and Nair Dosa at Herb Leicester, and both dishes were exceptional. The food was freshly prepared, and the sambar had a perfectly balanced flavour. The masala in the Nair Dosa was outstanding — rich, flavourful, and beautifully seasoned. The restaurant’s decor is stunning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. A special mention to Finil, whose attentive and helpful service made the visit truly enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience — highly recommended.
