Was on my lunch break and stumbled across Green Lane chippy. Decided to eat in the restaurant and managed to get a table without booking which was good because it was a busy afternoon. I received good customer service. Once I was seated I was able to order from my table. There was a good selection of choice on the menu. I ordered Jacket potatoes with Tuna Mayo & Sweetcorn and served with a crispy salad garnish, coleslaw, home-made crisps. It was a good size portion, the salad was fresh and loved the hot home-made crisp they were delicious. The gave the meal an extra touch. I was really happy

We recently moved to the area and decided to give Green Lane Chippy a try for takeout. As someone who is gluten-free, I was impressed by their attentiveness, even during a busy time. They quickly took my order and went through the menu with me, ensuring I felt comfortable with my choices. We enjoyed fish, chips, peas, and gravy, and it was honestly one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Since then, we’ve dined in two more times, and each experience has been first-class with amazing food. This place is definitely worth a visit, especially for those who are gluten-free. Highly recommend!

Our first visit to this chippy, we travelled 27 miles to get there. We weren’t disappointed, we were made welcome, we were shown to our table which I had reserved, there was air-con on in the restaurant which was very welcoming. The staff were very attentive, choices of drinks were offered, I went for the Jumbo Fish & Chips, includes a choice of peas, bread and butter and of course a choice of drinks. Best chippy ever. We usually order for collection but decided to eat in today for a change. The staff were so lovely and amazing with our little girls. The food is amazing, service is incredible.
