We had the pleasure of dining at The Bronze Pig during our trip to Lincoln for a cycling event, and the whole experience was exceptional. The service was warm and personable, the wine recommendation was perfect, and every dish was delicious. Dined at The Bronze Pig to celebrate our son's 18th birthday and what a choice of venue it turned out to be. The ambience was exactly to our taste, relaxed but welcoming, quiet but not without atmosphere. As it turned out we were the only diners in that evening which led to the feeling of a private dining experience. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience with Pompeo and his excellent team tonight. The food is delicious and beautifully presented and very authentic to the Italian heritage. Well done to Daniel and his young kitchen staff. For starters, we loved the scallops and arrancino, which were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We visited this restaurant yesterday evening. We were a table of four and it was the first time visit for all of us. All four of us were of the same opinion that we were not particularly impressed with our visit. We were seated at the table and given our menus by the owner at which point my wife asked if you had any Specials. Your reply was "Madam were a fine dining restaurant and fine dining restaurants don't have specials". Well I can assure you we have eaten at many fine dining restaurants and believe me they do have Specials. We proceeded to order our drinks and asked for a bottle of Pros
