Coffee smelt very tempting. Cakes looked good, both were a let down and disappointment. Cake was dry and bland. Nothing chocolatey about my mocha. About as welcoming as a railway station, waiting room or a hospital. And lots of little flies. Also, everything was served in disposable cups and boxes. Didn’t feel very reusable or sustainable.

Fantastic little cafe in Waterstones book shop! Brilliant atmosphere and lovely staff! Regularly go for coffee and cake a bit of a read! Brilliant selection of cakes. I usually have the lemon drizzle with a caramel latte. Also had the Cheddar brioche, which was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Really great service. Lovely atmosphere and fab seating but the cake was so bad!! I hate to give this place a lower score, but I love redvelvet cake and this was really bad the texture, the taste, the lot. The tea was glorious though 😊 and they sell Yorkshire tea too!!

Love coming here for a coffee on a Sunday morning. Great coffee, delicious sandwiches and cake, and cosy seating. The folks running this place are top notch at service. Particularly, recommend the hot chocolate here!
