Just ordered chilli and garlic crispy beef . It was just slop , I wouldn't feed it a dog, all I could tate was salt. Crispy beef was just a sloppy mess overall rubbish was looking forward to it to. Chips were white and didn't taste good. Soup wasn't bad so ive had that and binned the rest, wate of my money Avoid !!!!!!!

I have orderd or collected from here for several years but wont come back. Put an ordee on on just east and then added chips amd curry sauce. Withim 30 secinds it cMe through as 2 seperate orders (over £70 in total). Rang chippy straight away but was told there was nothing they could do as it already gone to the delivery driver (in less than 2 mins since ordee)

"The most famous chippy in Liverpool" The most overpriced! Food is average at best, all reheated in microwave. Say they accept card payments but you have to spend a minimum tonuse your card. Every time you go in there, there is new stickers covering the old prices on the board. A carton of curry is nearly a fiver now and a "fish" cake is £4!! Not that ypu can but that with a card anyway, must be cash. It's busy because its the only chippy around. Put any chippy there and it would be. And the staff!? Wow! So rude all of them!

Having seen George Gerry’s ridiculous response to my review, editing to add we have been loyal customers for many many years and this is a genuine review, we are not competitors 🤣🙈 The quality of the food has gone down so much, the chips are literally inedible unless drowned in premium priced watery gravy or salt and vinegar…..we stayed loyal despite the poor quality, tiny portions and massive prices, but a recent experience was the final nail. Really sad to say this chippy has sold its soul to Just Eat and isn’t interested in providing high quality affordable food anymore. overall it’s just
