It’s a lovely Mediterranean-style restaurant with Lebanese and Syrian roots. I came here with friends for lunch and we really enjoyed our time. The menu is varied, and the lunch set is very affordable with satisfying portions. The food tasted good, though the flavours weren’t as strong as I had expected. Service was good and our food arrived fairly quickly. It wasn’t very busy at the time, and there was plenty of seating inside. I had a lovely meal at this restaurant and was really impressed. We ordered the maqluba and chicken shawarma (apologies for any misspelling) - both of them were very delicious. The flavours were rich and perfectly well balanced, and you could really taste all the spices without one overwhelming the other. The shawarma was not too salty. As a starter, I tried the pickled aubergines (I think they were called makdous), which is something I’d never had before but I thought I’d give it a go. They were wonderful to have as a starter - quite unique in flavour. Altogether, it was a delightful dining
