Brilliant cafe. I’m not local to Liverpool but sometimes have to stay for work and when I can I go to this lovely cafe! It’s a welcoming space, with plenty of options for dietary requirements including vegan, and delicious fresh food! I’ve tried the pancakes, porridge, the homestyle beans on toast with couple of extras and the vegan sausage toastie. All been delicious!

This is a cute little cafe near the city center. The staff is so friendly and the vibe is wonderful. We had a cortado and the piña colada cake oh my god, it was so yummy! I can't praise it enough. The prices are also reasonable. This is a must visit place if you love cute cafes!

Lovelocks Coffee Shop is without a doubt the friendliest place for some food and/or a coffee in town. Not only that, the fact that the food I can purchase is always of outstanding quality makes it worth the journey, every single time. As an example, I'd previously been visiting family who had a trade stand in an exhibition at Liverpool Central Library (only a few minutes away!) and I visited Lovelocks to buy a sandwich. I did takeaway but the interior seemed to be a pleasant spot to work. It was quiet in there with a few people doing solo work. The croissant was really good. Not very buttery and maybe a bit dry, but I didn’t have an issue with it. The americano was very good, great espresso. I’d get the fresh baked bread next time.
