Quite possibly one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude, dismissive and gave the impression that customers were an inconvenience. We asked if we could move from the ridiculously high table we’d been seated at and were told all the other tables were booked. Fair enough. What wasn’t acceptable was being told, “The pizza will make up for it.” It certainly didn’t. The table was so absurdly high that, despite being 5’10”, I found it uncomfortable. Turned up to a really warm welcome and directed to the eating area. Drinks ordered and arrived quickly. Food ordered and exceeded expectations on flavour, quality of ingredients and quantity of food. Maybe next time I will share a pizza or take some home with me.

So disappointed! I’ve seen some of their Sunday dinners on their socials and they looked great. I turned up excited and starving. I chose the gammon and my partner got the beef. They carve their meat so finely I barely had any meat. The beef not much better either. Half a carrot? That meal in the picture cost £21 and was off of the adult menu. Food was also cold in places and the gravy was watery. Service wasn’t too great either, they need someone to drive the service as I was sat with plates in-front of me while they were talking. Excellent pizzas in a relaxed, chilled out setting. There's a small selection of starters and a great range of Italian, New York style and Calzone pizzas. Prices are reasonable and food is really good quality. Tucked away on Rothwell high street, it's really easy to miss as the restaurant and an actually upstairs.
