We had stopped in a hotel not far from here and had found this place on Google as we wanted somewhere to have breakfast. The staff were really friendly and service was fast. We enjoyed our breakfast, everything was cooked lovely. We enjoyed it that much we forgot to take a picture of it before we ate it all! Only reason for the four stars and not five is that for the price you don’t get the most food. However would still recommend if you are in the area.

Slow service even when the restaurant was empty. Poor quality food that was cold (especially the pasta). Furthermore the hot chocolate was yellow. NEVER had a worse experience at a restaurant and will certainly not be coming back!!!

My girlfriend and I visited for breakfast and the staff were lovely, place had an overall nice vibe and the food was genuinely nice. Only knocking it down one star as I think it was just a bit more on the expensive side for Joe much food you get but we definitely would come again

We visited Copper Cogs recently as a couple on a Wednesday afternoon for a prebooked High Tea. As usual we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. A variety of lovely filled rolls accompanied by a large sausage roll and green salad. Scones with jam and cream and cakes. All fresh and nicely presented with strawberries and blueberries to decorate, a drink to start and a pot of tea to accompany. We needed to ask for a box to take away some of the cakes as we just couldn't finish everything off. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere very pleasant. All in all excellent.
