We were going to go up the coast to Gorleston or Yarmouth for dinner but glad we made the decision to give the Lowestoft Tandoori a try. Just walking through the door for the first time we felt comfortable, a lovely welcome by really genuine staff. Our experience just got better. I’ve had a few curries in my time however this one combined with the service was fantastic. It’s an hour and a half from home and we will be back!!! While visiting the area with my boyfriend and his parents, we went to Lowestoft Tandoori and it was, without a doubt, the best Indian food we’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and generous, treating us to complimentary entrees, mains, desserts and drinks throughout the night, and even giving us hugs goodbye when we left. A truly memorable meal and experience. Everything was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in England!

We ordered for delivery the tomahawk steak for two, which came with chips, two sauces, salad, and mixed vegetables. The steak was incredibly tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection, paired with really tasty chips. On top of that, they threw in extras like onion bhajis, potatoes, coconut rice, and additional sauces, which was a great touch. Fantastic value for money—easily the best Indian restaurant around.
