The food was good. I originally wanted the sirloin steak, but unfortunately it wasn’t available, so the waiter offered me the same cut of meat in a different style and in a smaller portion. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were incredibly soft, creamy, and airy, and the sauce was really nice too. I genuinely enjoyed the meal, and for this price, I think it’s absolutely great value. We ordered following items: 1. Sea bass fillet - poor 2. Miami ribs x2- test good but portion is too low, not enough for single person 3. Dry ages sirloin- test good and portion is ok for single person 4. Surf and turf- rice looks good but plain test 5. Cafe de Paris steak- Soft and tender, Test average, good for one person 6. Cream chicken Madeira- not so good, inside no flavour Drinks: 1. Blue bayou mojito- not good 2. Pina colada x3- previously it was best but now the quality and test has dropped a lot 3. I recently visited Toro’s in Luton and unfortunately had a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the Paris steak, but I was disappointed with how it arrived. My steak seemed to be swimming in oil and had quite a few black burnt bits in the sauce. What made it more confusing was that my friends ordered the same dish, and theirs appeared to be cooked in butter as expected rather than oil, so there was a noticeable difference between the plates. i saw the videos of torrid on instagram and i decided to try since it was my daughters birthday and to be honest they didn’t disappoint and the food was banging . will definitely come back again . the kids were asking if we will be coming back the best day. the whole family enjoyed themselves. will recommend to family and friends
