This is a very good Subway location and one of my favourites in town right now, in the Arndale Food Court. The gluten-free selection is growing, including bread and jacket potatoes, with staff being trained on dealing with allergens and willing to wipe everything down as needed to reduce cross-contamination. Service is fast and friendly, and my go-to order right now — a jacket potato with butter, salt, pepper, cheese, tuna mayo, sweetcorn, and red onion — is made to a good standard. Staff were incredibly rude and very arrogant, there is a way of speaking to people and their customer service was shocking. The lady on the salad bar (short in height, dark brown hair) was very rude and didn’t have any patience. I understand it’s pressurising working at a fast pace, but there is common courtesy to speak to people with respect. I felt very uncomfortable being spoken to like that.

The service in here is EXCELLENT! The best I have ever had at a Subway. The staff are kind, efficient and very polite. I was served today by Michael and a young woman with glasses whose name I didn’t catch. I hope they are rewarded by their company!

Rude and pushy staff. We visited this branch earlier on today and found the experience disappointing. First of all the lady on the sandwich station paid little attention to peoples order and kept asking people to repeat. She would start adding the “double” portion before asking and Huff when we said we just wanted the regular portion. The man on the salad station was incredibly stingy with the salads making for a disappointing sandwich. Once we reached the till the man was asking people what drink and what cookie they wanted rather than asking if people wanted to make it a meal. This led to a
