Went to the unicorn yesterday for st Patricks day they had made such a great effort with the decorations the singer was fantastic he was then followed by the DJ he had a few technical issues but he got them sorted music was really good the staff excellent BUT there was a lady collecting glasses who just spoilt the day she was horrible swearing threatening totally nasty she constantly was aggressive to random people including myself and my partner we decided to leave and the only reason was this so called lady I'm sure there were many others that left due to her behaviour I will return but if s

Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. After a Sunday roast at the Abel Heywood Albrecht spotted this pub close by. It is many years since my last visit. It has hardly changed with a lovely wood panel interior. The pub wraps around a central bar. Sharpes Doom bar (eugh) and ( thankfully) draught Bass on handpump. Bass, once the biggest selling beer in Britain, is now a rare find. We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon pint while a singer kept the locals entertained.

Staff weren't at all friendly, beer wasnt good infact it was awful, pub was reasonably busy for saturday afternoon, I went to other pubs in manchester that were far better.
