I’d like to start by saying I received 10/10 service from the staff at this branch, my daughter has a dairy allergy and can barely find places to successfully eat, we were served by Nicole who worked with her colleague to ensure everything was washed from cloths to jugs and cake slices. She walked us through the dairy free options and was extremely friendly, we cannot fault Costa as an amazing dairy free brand.

Loved this place once. Been coming here for over 15 years. Sadly it's cosy ambience has disappeared since it's much needed refurb. And managers seem to come and go since the amazing Gosia left. The staff are friendly, but generally hidden behind the counter and drinks machine. Drinks quality varies depending on the barista. The tables and chairs are generally filthy with grease and crumbs upon opening, and it's one thing to allow dirty dogs into the place, but they now seem to be allowed on the furniture - watch for dog hairs on the benches!! Oh, and don't use the toilets.

Having gone there a few times generally good service but today 23rd April at about 4.30pm I stood in a long queue for at least 20 minutes as one person serving!! No one else to be seen tables had lots of dirty dishes ect !! Once I finally got served it was sorry No Cash and No matcha so not great experience will I return properly not now

This place is crazy! Always busy and difficult to get a seat in here. It’s just had a nice refurbishment though so the seating options are much nicer. Looks like new management so everyone is still learning the ropes, service is very slow and orders are frequently wrong, hopefully that will improve with time. Standard Costa menu, plenty of other costas around with better atmospheres
