We've been there twice for dinner with colleagues, and both times the staff was very courteous and helpful. The guy who carves the meat is really nice. Their menu is excellent and allows you to have good meat of different types, but also lots of vegetables. Everything was very good, and the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was fabulous. Great job, well done everyone!

Visited on 13th May with a friend who was visiting - this is not our local Toby but the one we use for the freshness of the food, which did not disappoint on this visit. Toby great value for money and we have always found staff pleasant and welcoming. Our waitress on this occasion was Lindsey, who was really nice to deal with and she definitely made sure that our visit was enjoyable - thank you Lindsey and we hope to see you on our next visit.

Second visit to a Toby Carvery in 2 weeks but first time to this one in Watford. I had gammon and turkey and my mum had lamb and gammon. Meat was delicious especially gammon. The yorkshires were a bit too crispy for me, I prefer fluffy yorkshires but thats just a personal preference. Izzy, our server was great. Very attentive and friendly. Fantastic service overall from all the staff.

This is purely my own opinion and experience and many will have had better than mine.. here goes. I gave the review one star as there isn't an option for less. Our server she was truly divine no complaints. Firstly I actually was in a kind of shock,so much so that I couldn't bring myself to moan, there is simply zero salad option, not a slice of carrot to be seen. Had tomato soup, was passable. Now out of the 3 of us I was the only one to go what they still call a ' carvery '. This alone is a pathetic joke.
