Visited at the weekend. Horrified to discover mould, fur and filth on the shelving and around the cooked meat products stored in the fridge display. Bacteria 🦠 potentially awaiting the journey onto human hands, bags, other foodstuffs, worktops and fridges. A premium supermarket… Sainsbury’s you must do better

Like most UK supermarkets these days, poorly stocked (many basic items are often completely unavailable), understaffed and expensive. Using the scan and shop then having to wait in the normal queue to pay is also annoying. In Asda and Tesco a separate area is provided for this.

Do not order anything for delivery from this Sainsbury's! Twice now they have neglected to actually deliver my order, claiming they did not have my contact details despite me being phoned by a delivery driver previously for an order about a month prior. The first time they didn't deliver my order I phoned customer support and they said they would ensure my phone number was in their system. However, after my order went undelivered again, I phoned customer support again and they said the driver skipped me because they didn't have my phone number. This was an absolutely unacceptable excuse, espec

Good selection of fresh vegetables at reasonable prices. Fruit options not great and not cheap either. Dairy goods like butter yoghurt and milk have good options and are well priced. Too much ultra processed foods for my liking.
