Being a pizza enthusiast, I visited this place specifically for their pizza, but it turned out to be a little disappointing. The base seemed like it was meant to be sourdough, but it felt more like it was made with instant yeast rather than a traditional sourdough process. The crusts were quite thick and heavy, lacked flavor, and overall tasted rather bland. On the positive side, the staff was great and very welcoming, the service was quick and efficient, and the ambience of the place is really nice. While the overall experience was pleasant, the pizza itself didn’t quite meet expectations.

We’ve been going to this place on and off for a while, I remember it as a newsagent. We went on a Monday and had a lovely meal, my wife particularly enjoyed the lamb tagine. Well worth driving to.

Meant to review this last week when we came for the first time. However, probably the best review we could give is to come back the following week (today) and then decide to make it our new regular. The food and wine is absolutely sublime. It is a one of a kind restaurant with 10/10 service. The staff are absolutely lovely, especially Scott. See you next week!
