Service was as good as you can expect from a chippy! Polite staff and quick service! The food did disappoint me however! The fish in particular was pretty tasteless and was a bit mushy inside, didn't really taste fresh! The kebab was okay, but the chilli sauce is very niceI used to really like this place a few years ago but really wasn't impressed on my return visit, such a shame, not sure if would try it again!

Stopped here on a whim on our way from kielder. Cracking little chip shop and it was very busy so you know it’s going to be good. Chose chip butty and minced beef and onion pie and they were really good, only thing I can complain about is I wasn’t asked if I wanted salt and vinegar and as I was eating them in the car I didn’t have any, and the covid screening is it still really necessary?

Tried the scampi, sausage, spam fritter and a plain kebab wrap (keeping it boring on the wrap front allergic to salad 👀😂) and honestly everything was spot on. Food was fresh, hot and packed with flavour. The scampi was crispy, the spam fritter was dangerously good, and the kebab wrap hit the mark perfectly. Great portions, friendly service and definitely one of the better takeaways I’ve had in a while. Will 100% be back
