Staff are very pleasant and welcoming, perhaps a little obsequious, but they were very very kind. The menu is significant, with a lot of Nepalese specialties included. The food was of a good standard, hot, and generally well made. Flavours were good, but overall there was a lack of spice and heat, and the meals did taste very mild. If you like a good hot Indian meal then this probably isn't the place to go, but if you want a more subtle Nepalese experience this is definitely recommended. Last minute work trip and I booked in about 30 minutes before attending. The team at Gurkha Chef could not be more attentive! The food was fantastic, really reasonably priced and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely call again when I’m next in the area. (Also great beer!)

Ate here with my daughter. The staff were very friendly. When we arrived our booked table wasn't ready so we had to wait at the bar. It was very busy, noisy and hot. The windows were steamed up but the staff were very apologetic. We got out table, it was a bit squashed in. All the food we ordered was really nice, we enjoyed everything. The ice-cream in a lemon was enjoyed by my daughter. I would recommend a visit and will definitely eat there again.

We ordered garlic naan, saag paneer , momo, choila and chicken liver. Naan and saag paneer was the shows topper. Would recommend highly. The customer service is A one and the atmosphere is calm and serene. Very clean and tidy. The washrooms are clean.
