Kian Russell★★★★Nuovo has been a personal ‘want to go’ for a while, and I finally made the trip to go a few weeks back. The food was great for the most part. The braised beef was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. The Fried Calamari was a little bit bland, but still quite enjoyable. Wasnt a big fan of the fried risotto, but this may have been due to personal preference. The beef carpaccio was a lovely start to our meal. All in all, worth visiting if you are wanting somewhere to eat. The prices are a little more on the high end, but still quite enjoyable

When I arrived, I checked with the waitress, as I’ve been burned before by “guanciale” that ended up being pancetta, however, the carbonara was in fact guanciale which is rare! The food comes as small plates (cicchetti) and we ordered 6 savoury plates in total which was enough for 2 people. The food was tasty, and the waitress was super attentive.
