Visited again this weekend in the hope of a nice meal with the in-laws after hearing promises of 'change and improvements' over the past few months, and I have to say it's only got worse in my opinion! We struggled to find a table that wasn't filthy and covered in glasses, shocking as the place wasn't what we would call particularly busy at the time, when we managed to find a suitable seat we decided to get a drink whilst we browsed the menu. After a good 5 - 7 minutes of waiting to be served by the one member of staff behind the bar, we eventually orderded the drinks, prices still reasonabl

Really disappointing experience. The food was extremely overpriced and inedible. My pasta dish appeared to have been microwaved and arrived watery, accompanied by a very poor, seemingly out-of-date side salad. It was also missing items that were listed on the menu, and these were not replaced like for like which made it even more frustrating and left me paying well over the mark. Had I known I wouldn’t have paid even a fraction of the price charged. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place if you’re looking for decent—or even edible—pub food.

Love this pub. My local me and my dog nacho always feel welcome, made some great friends. Had the best dinner today pie , mash and brocolli cooked by new kitchen manager absolutely stunning , best dinner ever had in there 10 our of 10. Love all the bar staff the girls are amazing. Great pub, been going here for almost 10 yrs! Love the layout, it's casual in parts and then more catered for dining in other parts. Two great pool tables, a darts board, some fruit machines and a brilliant outdoor beer garden at the back. They play live sports on huge screens too! The staff are friendly and so are the locals, always happy to have a chat and a laugh! Special offers are available most days but it seems Thursdays are the best! Go have a pint and checkout the pub! I'm sure you'll love it :-)
