I had read positive reviews about this cafe so got my daughter to take me for brunch on father's day. As expected it was busy but we got a table fairly easily and ordered our food & drinks. There was a bit of a wait for which the host/owner apologised several times (even offered us a free drink, I declined as I was happy to wait). When the food arrived it was most definitely worth the wait, cooked to perfection and huge portions. My daughter's breakfast bap was as big as her head. I’ve been coming to The Street Cafe for years. It always impresses. There’s nothing showy or fancy about it but the food is excellent with some interesting things on the menu. I had the loaded breakfast chips and they were unreal. It was nice to have something a little different and the waitress happily accommodated one small substitution in the dish.

Spent a Friday lunch time at the street cafe. Having initially parked near Elm street we realised we were a little bit of a walk away. Lesson learned. The cafe its self is light and spacious but we were greeted and served by the most wonderful friendly staff. Normally people go for the amazing and well know breakfast but at 12:30pm felt a bit much. I opted for a toasties and my friend opted for a wrap. Both with triple cooked chips. The food as expected was lovely. And the triple cooked chips were crunchy outside and soft inside. Really nice. The meals came with a lovely salad and coleslaw

I went to street cafe with a large group of girl friends. We had Rita's amazing tapas, Rita the owner organised it all beautifully! The food was amazing and there was more than enough. Rita goes above and beyond and ensures everything is just perfect. Honestly, book you parties and events it was such a great night. Thanks Rita we will be back 🥂💞
