I tried the Walnut Coffee Cake at the Waring Lifestore café in Norwich yesterday. The cake itself was delicious, but the takeaway presentation was *disappointing*. It was placed in a paper bag, which made it look squashed and messy, taking away from the appeal. For a café of this standard, a proper takeaway box would make a huge difference. A slice of cake should be presented neatly protected, upright, and looking just as inviting as when it’s served on a plate in the café. Good presentation matters, especially when it comes to desserts, as it keeps the experience enjoyable from start to finis

I’ve been visiting this café with my friends for the last three years, and it always has an amazing atmosphere. They have the best matcha in town, and they can even make it a bit stronger upon request, which is absolutely perfect for me. However, I was slightly disappointed with my panini during my last visit. The manager Edyta kindly offered me a replacement, and I really appreciate how they go the extra mile to keep loyal guests happy. Overall, still one of my favourite spots!

After a long time, I visited Waring Store , and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is cozy, soothing, and beautifully designed with great interiors and just the right background music – not too loud, which added to the relaxing vibe. The staff were friendly, making the whole experience even better. I ordered a fresh orange juice, and it was made right in front of me, super fresh and delicious! I also tried their salad, which was very tasty and refreshing. Later, I had a scone, which had a bit of a noticeable baking powder/soda taste, but other than that, everything was excellent.
