Went here while visiting Nottingham for a birthday meal for my dad - it was fantastic! The best Indian food I have had in years! The service was quick and the servers were incredibly friendly. The samosas, Chana masala and vegetable biryani were fabulous and I already can’t wait to come back again! We had a really wonderful day on this 14th February, Valentine’s Day, at Kottaram – a Pan Indian restaurant. My wife, my daughter, and I truly enjoyed our time there. The food was absolutely delicious. The bamboo biriyani was especially tasty, full of rich flavors and beautifully prepared. The chicken fry was even more impressive – it reminded me so much of the authentic flavors from my hometown, which made the experience even more special. The service was also very good. Kottaram is one of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham. I really like the Indian food there. I recently visited Kottaram and tried the samosa chaat, paneer tikka, and tandoori mango prawns as starters. For the mains, I had the bamboo chicken biryani, garlic chilli naan, and Travancore chicken fry. I would say the bamboo biryani and the starters are a must‑try — I really enjoyed the food.

Small Indian just out of the Market Square. Possibly the best meal I have eaten in recent years. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food is first class. I was part of a group of 6, we had poppadums, starters, mains, rice, naan and 2 beers and it came in at £50 per person, which considering the quality of the food was a bargain. I will be going back soon.
