Ku Shi Ya, is one of our favourite restaurants in Nottingham. We’ve been visiting for a few years now. The food is consistently fantastic and tasty! The prawn sando, one of their most delicious dishes. And the margaritas… wow! I’ve wanted the recipe since our first visit! Highly recommend.

We went to Kushi-ya on Saturday for lunch. We arrived 10 mins before opening time to ensure first seating. We were 2nd in line. By the time it opened, the queue is about 10 parties deep. The menu seemed to have refreshed since we last been. We chose the super value lunch meal deal and a pork shoulder side dish. Very tasty !

This was a seriously tasty lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. Prawn toast was so good - I could have eaten five of them. Pickles delicate, fresh, cleansing and perky. Inhaled the sando. It was divine. Beef Skewers were deep and Smokey. Rice with curry sauce like a katsu with none of the meat. My only regret was too full to try dessert. Top notch.

The best meal I’ve ever had out. The food was incredible and was the prefect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day early. I would definitely come back. We rated each dish an easy 9/10 or 10/10 each which is a first. The cocktails were interesting and very strong! Tried sake for the first time here too
