Me and my friend came in to get a matcha, the cafe was pretty much empty with multiple tables free. Ordered two drinks, repeatedly threatened by staff that we were not ordering anything else and taking up space, despite spethe cafe being empty. Our friend came in and she was told she couldn’t sit with us, we were also not allowed to move to any of the free tables. We eventually left after half an hour because we did not feel welcome. The girl working was very rude and hostile. We are very disappointed with the drinks we had, £11 for two matchas.

Toast is my comfort place. I always go there whenever I am craving an amazing breakfast. I have had their creamy and garlic mushroom toast which I order “every single time” I go to Toast and pair it with a white chocolate mocha which is too delicious to miss. Their breakfast bagel is also really nice. Highly recommend to go try this cute cafe on Derby Road.

Our breakfast was fabulous. We ordered a vegan gourmet breakfast and a smoked salmon meal. Both contained a wide range of ingredients and the quality was outstanding. Tap water was served with ice cubes and lemon. Staff were speedy and accomodating. You can also buy hand-crafted soaps that support the local economy in Nottingham. What a noble mission! It was a no brainer for and we purchased a palmarosa-sandalwood-hibiscus soap. We will certainly return here in future!

Lovely spot for breakfast located a short walk from the city centre The English breakfast was superb. Service is top notch and the ambience of the place was lovely. Get there early at the weekend as no table reservations. Will be back to try the pancakes.
