Great place for families, child minders and nannies to visit. Very hilly, so need to be able bodied. All outside, so needs to be a dry day, unless you love to get out in the rain! Lots of interactive things for children and play areas. Even a fire pit for melting marshmallows. Lovely cafe in the garden centre too, with an outdoor play area. They will stamp your hand so you can re enter discovery land if you go out to the cafe for food too.

This is a great place to shop for plants. They have a huge selection, and I found a beautiful one to take home. The prices are reasonable, and they also have lots of other garden goodies. Plus, there's a nice cafe and plenty of parking. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

This is a very good independent garden centre with many plants and even a café selling many cakes, classic restaurant lunch/dinner foods and also English Breakfast which was very enjoyable! However, dogs are not allowed which is good for me as now I will go here more often - it may not be good for you though. There is also a Pirate Ship Play Area, Discovery Walk , Farm Shop and a Pets Corner nearby. However if you want to get things in the garden centre - make sure to get the large plastic trolleys at the entrance to the shop as you cannot bring the green baskets/trolleys outside of the shop.
