Travelled all the way from London to Barefoot Jericho in Oxford to try on a cake for my birthday. Looks aesthetically pleasing upon arriving at the cafe. I took Rhubarb, Raspberry and Rose slice cake, It looks dry but actually it’s soft with a delicate yet delicious taste. There were so many great options. But coming inside the cafe there was so many stains on the table as if it wasn’t clean & I had a hard time to choose a table to sit and “enjoy”. The cleanliness here is horrible. Lovely coffee, great cakes! The hygiene was our concern. We sit outside and one of the chairs was broken, one of us have to stay up because of the chair conditions. The tables wasn't any clean or so wasn't the glass of the shop (we couldn't barely see the cakes from outside). The toilet was absolutely disgusting, full of ended toilet rolls, the bin was overloaded and the amount of dust over everything make it look like no one had cleaned for a long time. I'll keep this brief, seriously the nicest bit of cake i've had in a long time, the mango, lime and coconut was off the hook, shared one slice between us and had a pot of tea. The tea was great, perfect, nice and strong. the guys working were really friendly. Top marks througout, thanks
