Unfortunately, my visit to this café was very disappointing. The pastry was stale and tasted like it had been left over from the previous day. The sandwich was overheated to the point where it was impossible to eat comfortably, and the quality suffered because of it. The café itself also felt cold and uninviting, with no cozy atmosphere at all. The only positive thing I can say is that they offer free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, that’s about the only good thing this place has going for it.

Paul’s has a nice atmosphere and the usual solid bakery selection, but the cappuccino was a bit underwhelming. It lacked depth and richness and tasted fairly flat, which was disappointing given the price. Fine spot to sit and grab a pastry, but I would not come here specifically for the coffee.

As a regular visitor to the Paul chain this little cafe keeps the atmosphere with charming customer service. The layout feels a bit cramped even though there is an upstairs (which isn’t obvious). The cafe feels a little tired but I still enjoy the unique experience Paul has to offer.

Just popped in to this characterful establishment on Oxford's busy High St for a quick coffee. Ordered a decaf cappuccino and a pecan tartlet from a splendid array on the couter. Both arrived at the table promptly and were delivered with a smile. Coffee was very good and the pecan tartlet was scrumptious. Exellent service: special mention to team members Rachel and Norbert who made my quick break delightful.
