Love the old school vibe of this place. The staff were lovely and super chatty. I thought the place opened at 12 midday but at 11am they were open with two sandwich options. I tried the vegetarian broccoli sandwich. It was great, the roasted broccoli paired well with the tangy slaw. Cost £7 so cheaper than other options.

Absolutely sensational sandwiches. Exceeded all expectations. The staff were super friendly, and despite the hoards of people the wait time wasn’t bad at all. They have a lovely outdoor area at the back which catches the sunshine. 10/10 must visit spot in south London. Will be back to try all of the sandwiches. The food was good, really enjoyed the sandwich but the staff weren’t very friendly. The lady taking orders was nice but the chefs all seemed a little fed up and grumpy. Felt awkward while waiting for them to make my sandwich, as if I was putting them out by ordering so it was an uncomfortable atmosphere while waiting for the food. Glad we ordered takeaway so we could get out of there!

A bit on the pricey side (a standard £1.69 PinkTing is £4). I’m a big sandwich fan so I had to try this place. It didn’t disappoint but it isn’t anything “special” I’d say but definitely worth a try if you’re exploring places. The ice tea is an 8/10 for me. It’s hard to find a good sandwich place in London so I can see why it’s a big hit. I only had 1 sandwich, the Mondo Frango so maybe I’ll try more but would definitely recommend to go even if it is once. They have badges you can buy for £1.50 which I LOVE.
