What a treat it is to grab breakfast at the crossways. We try and got for breakfast quite a bit in Nunhead when we can, when we do it can only be one place… Mary is a legend and honestly cares so much about each guest and every plate of food. Says a lot about a Cafe when it becomes your local for the people that work their. Food is absolutely spot on and fresh, proper sausages (which you don’t always find in a proper caff anymore) I must say it definitely deserves more recognition than it gets. We love it. Thank you for your service. (Also love their chocolate milkshakes) always go large!

The food is terrific, the prices are reasonable and the staff are ace. Great for breakfast or lunch. I work from home - the ambience when you go out is more important when you work at home. It's top class. All of Nunhead goes to Crossways: students, young professionals, hipsters, hippies, people with tons of money and people with almost none, men, women, all races and creeds, old, young. That tells you more about the staff and the food and the prices than any individual experience.
