First time visiting (lived here for years!) and it's so cosey and nice. The low lighting on one side of the bar and lighter lighting on the other offers choices. Same again for the different seating types. I personally chose the old 19thC style bench booth chairs (kind of like church pews). Great place to come and do some work or writing on a week night. Good prices too and nice staff.

First impression after a break from drinking here due to the brewery taking absolutely ages to get new people in Really enthusiastic new person (Mike) running it. He's got loads of really good ideas so I hope he makes a go of it. Price wise I'd rate it as a Penarth medium/high.

The owner is lovely and does his best to promote the venue. I went there to a business networking event and made some valuable acquaintance. I hope to go there some day to get some work done on my laptop I would love to see more food choices there :)
