Not one to complain but we got two breakfasts and pretty much everything was cold, beans looked like they’d been sat there all day. No fritters so swapped them for Bombay cauliflower which came out hard, dry and absolutely no flavour. No check back either which probably would’ve saved a complaint. Saving grace was the hash browns and your lovely manager (male), thank you for the coffees!!

Just left after meeting friends at 4pm for a catch up after work. I ordered a lime and soda and a latte. A quite rude and surly woman had served me, but hey, we all have bad days I thought. When my latte was brought to my table, it looked like a cup of tea that was left to go cold. I took it back to the same woman who had served me and asked her to replace it as it clearly wasn't right. She said to me, "what's wrong, is it too thin" whatever that meant. She then walked off to do the new one, and clearly moaned to a colleague about me as I watched her all the time. Very good, varied menu offering mains, tapas, burgers, sandwiches, all day brunch, puddings etc. I had the brisket birria toasties which was excellent. Good selection of drinks including Hofmeister(!) that I haven't seen for years. Quite expensive at £6.80 a pint but not crazy. It was busy when I went, mid afternoon on a Saturday, which I expected. We got a table easily enough though. Service was also good and friendly. Would definitely return. Only thing I wasn't keen on was how many young children were there and some of these were allowed to jump on chairs or run around. But, that's down to
