Heard about this place from my FOH manager, lovely friendly staff and a charming atmosphere, full of old light fixtures and Georgian art. The food was amazing. Bold flavours, interesting combinations, very well cooked and presented without being pretentious. A large feast of a meal with a drink each and coffee was £65 pp.

First the positives: the ambience, service and the food. The only negative: the toilets! Ok so let’s start with the good things: the ambience is beautiful, good vibes and great service. In the food section, all the appetisers were phenomenal and the monkfish sauce was fantastic too. The steak while not bad was fine nothing great just fine. And now onto the toilets: seriously the men’s toilets were so badly maintained with overflowing toilet paper - it was comparable to some of the worst pub toilets I have been to and for a restaurant that’s so beautiful, I cannot believe that they did not

My friend and I booked for week day lunch. We had Glazed Pork Jowl (for two) to share. The dish itself was fantastic, melt in mouth with rich taste. However their serving was extremely slow, took over 45 min after our order. We noticed they had an event in one of their rooms and staff were busy carrying dishes to the room. Still it can't be an excuse for slow serving for the restaurant section. One floor girl excused as we didn't order starters, again it's not a point for their slow serving.
