I have been going to this place since it started out in the late 70's - early 80's. It has progressively grown to where it is now. The food and service is as good as it has every been. This is an institution in the Plymouth area, everyone should visit Cap'n Jasper's.

Good food with a good view. What can I say... If you haven't been to Cap'n Jasper's you have seriously not had a massive burger. I had the Japerized, at least that's what I think it was called. It was huge, and it tasted brilliant. The staff and service was equally great. .

Pure burger goodness. No time wasted on being fancy You want some posh ambience, 2cm meat burgers and fine dining? Go to McDonald's. Burgers big and meaty enough to keep you full for an entire day at a real good price. Have some of their tea while waiting for the burgers though. That amount of meat takes a few minutes to cook well

Cap'n Jaspers does not pretend to be anything it is not, and that is a large part of its charm. Do you want luxury? gourmet dining? "Gluten Free"? cutlery? Go somewhere else. But if you want a true Plymouth institution, you’re exactly where you should be. This is cheap, cheerful, no-nonsense food done right. You might find yourself perched at a table that’s mysteriously both damp and sticky, fending off seagulls for the last bite, but that’s all part of the experience. Come for the chaos, stay for the reliably satisfying grub. It’s quick, affordable, and always hits the spot. Food: 3.5/5 Ser
