Absolutely fantastic. When I was doing my BSC Hons degree I stayed with Bill and Cynthia. Cynthia has always been a fantastic cook and has passed this on to Marie and Millie. Quality (and you can see fresh vegetables being prepared) is outstanding. Service is so outstanding that Michelle, Marie, Millie and all the staff are on first name terms with the customers. The Port-O-Call has such a loyal following that you realise just how amazing the food is and so affordable. You become a loyal customer instantly too. I enjoyed a breakfast recently and wanted to try a Sunday roast. I was not disappointed. It was great to have a small roast option and vegetarian. I could taste the mustard in the cauliflower cheese, the carrots were tasty and cooked how I like them. I was offered a vegan or standard gravy. I scoffed the lot and will make sure I have enough time to enjoy one of the tasty sounding puddings on the menu. I was a walk in at 3.30pm which was probably the latest time they would take food orders as they close at 5. It was clean, the service was friendly and I will definitely go back.
