I used to work in a Starbucks for a while, so it's great to move to a new city and find somewhere familiar. I end up coming in pretty much every day to study because everything about the place is so accommodating. I like that the light's reflection against the white walls is bright but not harsh. I like that some seats have a decent-sized windowsill, so I don't need to leave my bag and jacket on the floor. I like that the massive window panes allow my friends walking past to see me and come in for a quick hello. The coffee here tastes like Starbucks, and it reminds me of my days behind the bar

A very nice branch of Starbucks with friendly staff members. They also make great coffees here. I have tried lattes and flat whites - they were both great. Also, the decaf was more tasty than the normal coffee which is rather unusual, so I was very happy with it as a decaf lover! Chocolate twists and almond croissants are not to be missed either :)

Stood in the queue patiently whilst the two staff pottered about acknowledging absolutely no one. Chatted for a bit and pretended to think about making a coffee. Took so long without anyone looking at me so I left my outrageously priced toastie for some other mug!
