We haven’t been here in such a long time, but remembered the breakfast to be very decent. Sadly on this occasion. It didn’t live up to memory. A good brekkie lives or dies by its sausage, and, for me, these weren’t good. Quite mushy and a bit bland sadly. Also the cooking of bacon is obviously very individualistic. I like mine to be more cooked than this. Wasn’t bad just would have been nice to have a bit more colour. Pluses. Service is quick and friendly. The fried bread was lovely as were the mushrooms and beans. Also the egg was nice and runny. Overall. Ok

Great small cafe in Old Portsmouth serving a good range of hot and cold food and lovely cakes. Hot and cold drinks available. Small place with about a dozen tables. The place is clean and tidy. Staff are helpful, polite and make time to chat. Prices are reasonable for the good portions sizes. Parking is on street parking in the local area, check signs for charges. The cafe is accessable by steps at the front. Sadly for me, this place allows dogs in, not to everyone's taste !!

The food itself was good. They do have a decent gluten free menu. The staff friendly, the location is obviously amazing. However, I do have to deduct two stars because I found two hairs in my meal!

Was on a pub walk around Portsmouth and wanted somewhere to grab a breakfast to start the day. Turned up and it was busy but waited only a few minutes while space was found for 4 of us. Once seated a server came over to take our drinks choice. They didn't take long to come and in that time our food order was taken. Took every need our table had. You can even pick what tomatoes you want! When they breakfasts came out we were all very happy with the quality. I'd definitely come back here again, the staff were so friendly and helpful during the whole visit. Must try the cake next time which they
