Decent greene king lovely beer garden which is in the sun. Food was lovely especially Signature burger. Cranbury juice was so watered down. Guy at bar forgot our drinks after half an hour had to go in to remind him lol.

Details – Arrived at 8.00pm for a family meal and sat down and looked at the menus to decide what we wanted, a young lady came to advise us the kitchen was closed so no food, she blamed greene king for this and said we don’t do the signage of website, which suggested closing times for food much later, even the signs outside said 10.00pm and the website, a total waste of our evening and the manager we asked for never came , we left not happy at all as we work weekends and this a family. Great visit in absolutely awful weather!! We were not intending to stop anywhere for lunch, but due to horrendous wind we decided to stop at this pub for a bite to eat and wait to see if the weather past. What a gem!! Food was outstanding, service impeccable and the warmth throughout the place was so inviting we didn’t really want to leave. If anyone is passing through Prenton stop off at this pub for a drink and bite to eat, you will not be disappointed!!

Visited today Sunday 19/4/26 for lunch, table booked for 1 pm. As we arrived I saw two friends who were already enjoying fish/chips which looked delicious. The 2 friends I arrived with ordered a roast dinner, but i asked for fish and chips. I was told no fish available so had to order another option. As we finish our meal a party of 4 were seated nearby, when their food arrived I noticed one person had fish and chips.
