Thank you so much to the Boathouse for a fantastic night for my 30th birthday on Saturday 3rd Jan! Extra big thanks to Michael and Saskia for looking after us on the night (with help from Harry, Rebecca, Theodora & the team for their great communication during the booking process.) They were so helpful and attentive & brought excellent vibes all round! The lounge area is spacious & the balcony is an amazing addition; it felt like the perfect location for what I was looking for a party of 50+ and it’s such a bonus having toilets on the same floor, separate to the main bar. My pre-ordered drinks

We had dinner here on Sunday and we all had Sunday roast. The foods were quite delicious and I specially like the Yorkshire pudding and the roasted potatoes. The service was very good, the staff was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was quite good too. We came here for football hence sitting inside but there were tables outside and on the terrace with nice vier over the river. I really like this place and will come back for sure !

A group of us had a delightful ,50 year reunion upstairs. The people working up there really helped us enjoy the ( long and well celebrated ) day. We found this to not be as good as other Young’s pubs. The chicken ham and leek pie was disappointing, and nowhere as good as a chicken ham and leek pie the night before at the Windmill (another Young’s pub). You go for the location, not the food. We had a table outside and that meant we were able to enjoy the atmosphere.
