We came here on NYE. Never been before. Just by Putney train station. Great pub grub. All hits! The duck pie had plenty of filling. The apple crumble was perfect. Loads of fruit, right amount of crumble and sweet vanilla (but not too sweet) custard. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Nice comfortable interior and a nice vibe. Would come again. The staff wore cowboy hats - as it was the theme of the night. Excellent service provided by the friendly and attentive staff.

Went there for lunch, had the chicken and mushroom pie and the fish and chips. The service was amazing, staff were really friendly and everything arrived promptly. Food was really tasty and the place wasn’t too busy either. Quite heavily priced for a pub lunch however it did appear all fresh, would return again.

The only food that I ate was chips so I can’t really comment on the food so much but the chips were divine, the pints however were out of this world Peroni is my go to, when we arrived there are multiple 75 inch TVs playing the football which was not anticipated so I was extremely happy upon arrival. My partner on the other hand was not however I swiftly put a I swiftly put a peroni her face and she left me alone and chuckled. She’s a good girl….Some would she’s a keeper 😉. Back to the review…. Historic pub just on Putney high street. Genuinely charming place, on a street that can be a bit generic. Building looks Georgian and retains its unique facade and some original features. t's a Youngs pub, so serves decent quality food and a wide selection of drinks. Some screen for live sport, and dog friendly. It's big enough (although when there on a football day that Fulham are playing at home it's too crowded and loud). Staff are lovely and big shout out to Eddie. Worth a quick visit if on the high st and want a pit stop
