First visit to Ida, midweek 6:25 sitting. Gorgeous restaurant, super cosy and artfully decorated. Everything feels “just right” - the personalised plates, the low lighting, the wall of art, the quality menus. We were sad that one of our preferred pasta options on the menu was unavailable, but were happy with the choices we made in the end. I found the flavours very good, strong and unique. My only gripe is as some other reviews have said, I personally found the portion size on the small side. We visited for both a Valentine’s dinner and a Sunday lunch, and it was fantastic each time. A very intimate and lovely place with friendly and professional staff. Amazing traditional Italian food and very generous portions. Highly recommended!

came for my partners birthday and we were super excited to try this place! huge caveat - i would rethink visiting in summer on a warm to hot day. its BOILING in there, as its an open kitchen the heat from the kitchen doubled with any type of warm weather should be an absolute no. they should really consider investing in an AC unit. the food was good! we probably would’ve enjoyed it more if we weren’t overheating! we’ll think about visiting again in winter. also side note - because it was my partners bday i did email to ask about getting candles in a dessert which they didn’t reply to or do!
