I was genuinely impressed by how Battersea Power Station has been transformed from a historic industrial landmark into such a vibrant and useful destination. The redevelopment has been done beautifully, preserving the character of the building while creating a fantastic space filled with shops, restaurants, and public areas to enjoy. What an interesting visit… there’s loads to do as a family or with friends and repurposing the power station as a tourist and residential destination is a great way to utilise such an iconic London landmark. Parking was easy (£10 for 4hrs) which we didn’t find excessive. Today there was a buzzing atmosphere and the Sunday street food market on the river walk was great to check out. We loved the deck chairs set out on the green spaces in front of the power station… on a beautiful day like today it was fab to see so many people sat around just chilling and enjoying the sunshine. This is arguably the best shopping centre in the country for clothing. The redevelopment is a joy to walk around. Super clean and very well run. The thought that has been put into the halls and the integration of historic equipment and fittings is to be commended. I generally don’t like shopping centres but this was a superb attraction to walk around. Do enter from the river entrance to get the full experience.

Huge shopping centre this this converted power station. Lots of designers and some food outlets. Lots of walking. Possible to reserve a wheelchair if you have mobility problems. Very clean. On the riverside entrance it, there was a huge outdoor screen showing Wimbledon, complete with free deckchairs, Simms bus and Strawberry & cream van. Very popular on this sunny day. Took an Uber boat from the docks outside.
