Best steakhouse in Reading, no question. Been here multiple times and the ribeye never disappoints, succulent and full of flavour every single time. Pair that with a Peroni on tap and you have the perfect combination. Service is attentive and professional without being overbearing. We visited Miller & Carter in Reading for a special farewell dinner with my sister. While the food was fantastic—our steaks and lobster were absolutely delicious—the service was deeply disappointing. Our booking was for 8:45 PM, and from the moment we sat down, the server was abrupt and informed us that we couldn’t order starters because the kitchen was about to close, meaning we were limited to only one course. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the restaurant still accepts bookings for 9:00 PM. If this is the policy, it should either be clearly stated during booking or
