Reading the reviews, we expected a five star meal but some items were not at this standard. We went on a Wednesday early evening around 7 pm . We were the only customer initially. We wanted to try kimchi, having asked for the " less spicy" version. We asked for a small sample , checked it was ok and ordered a full portion. This full portion was stronger in chilli and very strong in Garlic. Not the same 🥺. My battered prawn hand wrap was sub par. The included sauce lacked flavour and volume so the entire thing was very dry and not flavourful. On the good side my partner said her chicken gyoza

It’s a shame that I can’t give this place a 5 star! The sashimi is very fresh and delicious, however the rice is very mushy and somewhat ruined the whole sushi, therefore I would recommend ordering just the sashimi set. The tempura is amazing , fried to perfection. The waitress there is very nice and helpful which made the whole experience quite pleasant!

The food was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was quite quiet when we were there that’s all. Very much enjoyed the food though (we went on a Thursday eve), if we are in the area again we will be coming back! Grateful for the birthday cake too, lovely surprise.

This place deserves to be more popular, the service and food is 2nd to none. The prices are lot cheaper than Birmingham china town restaurants. If you are thinking about going then don’t hesitate, it truly is great. The katsu chicken is hands down better than Wagamamas and the ramen is so tasty with loads of meat.
