​We visited on a Saturday afternoon following a children's birthday party. As a group of 6 adults and 4 well-behaved children (ages 5–6), this was a rare treat for us. Though the pub was relatively empty, we were "greeted" by a panic-stricken staff member who told us we couldn't eat.
